Kindred Creatives

Kindred Creatives Art Exhibition

On Wednesday, 4th December 2024 the first ever exhibition of our artists work was held at Lee Valley Millennium Centre in Belle Vale, LIverpool.  The display was co-curated by Kindred MInds staff and the artists themselves, and supported on the day by staff and service users alike.

Kindred Minds has been supporting our service users to develop their creative skills over the last three years and more by providing skilled art and craft tutors as well as providing sessions supported by our own activity coordinator so they can try out difference techniques and styles.

The work is valued greatly by those who take part.  They all say how impacts positively on their mental health.

Below is a small selection of the work on display.  Each piece was selected by a member of the art group for reasons that were personal to them.

Ceramics With Alex

One of our most popular courses, group members explored the tactile pleasures of moulding and modelling to create a wide variety of decorative objects in ceramics.

Pinto Arts with Kathryn Brooks

Kathryn has led several courses over recent years, exploring various styles and approaches to painting and drawing.

Participants appreciate the professional instruction which helps to improve their skills as well as allowing them to try out different media to see which suits them best.
